   Mr. Edward Eddy, the celebrated American Tragedian, who died in this City yesterday morning from an attack of appoplexy had made many warm friends during his brief sojourn in this country. As an actor, he possessed remarkable ability, and as a gentleman, his mild courteous bearing, won him many admirers. The sympathy of the play-going community, is hereby tendered to Mrs. Eddy.

   Acquiescing to the request of the friends of the late Worshipful P. M. Edward Eddy, a native of New York and by dispensation of the Deputy District Grand Master, I hereby convene a meeting of the Lodge for 3.15 o'clock this afternoon for the purpose of assisting at the interment of the deceased brother according to Masonic form.
   Members of the Sister Lodges are respectfully invited to join in paying the last tribute of respect.
   The Members of the Fraternity will, from the Sussex Lodge, proceed to the late residence of the Deceased at the South corner of the Parade and Church Street, and from there to the place of interment. The funeral will move at 4 o'clock.
